Biography

Education: Studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna - voice training (Prof. H. Karusso), Lied u. Oratory (Dr. Roman Ortner) and Music Dramatic Presentation (Prof. Möller, Prof. Zimmerl) - Diplomas with distinction. Private study with Enza Ferrari in Italy (Belcanto and role study).

Award Winner: Mario del Monaco / Italy, Opera en Belcanto / Belgium and dr. Luis Sigall / Chile.

1986 International breakthrough with a substitution as Amelia in "Ballo in Maschera" at the Vienna State Opera with Luciano Pavarotti as partner and Claudio Abbado as conductor. Live opera broadcast across Europe.

For many years ensemble member of the Vienna State Opera, the Graz Opera and the Zurich Opera House as a youthful-dramatic soprano in many Verdi, - Puccini, - Wagner and Richard Strauss games.

Performances in all international opera and concert halls (uva Wiener Musikverein, Konzerthaus Wien and Berlin, Philharmonie Berlin and Cologne, Tonhalle Zurich, Accademia di Santa Cecilia Rome, Beethovenhalle Bonn, Radio France Paris, Concertgebouw Amsterdam), at the most important festivals such as the Salzburg Festival , Wiener Festwochen, Carinthian Summer, Prague Spring, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino etc.

Collaboration with more than 120 conductors: Abbado, Barenboim, Bernstein, by Dohnanyi, Karajan, Luisi, Maazel, Mehta, Sinopoli, Plasson, Thielemann, Viotti, Welser-Möst and with the following directors: Kupfer, Berghaus, Wilson, Hollmann, Corti, Lievi, Monaco, Palmer, de Bosio, Miller, Lehnhoff and Corsaro.

Media productions: many radio and television recordings, video, DVD and CD productions (Verdi: Ballo in Maschera, Puccini: Tosca, Humperdinck: Hänsel and Gretel, Beethoven: 9, Symphony, Missa Solemmnis, Mahler: 4 Symphony, Verdi : Requiem, ...)
